UNIT SUMMARY
This unit focuses on technology and its uses, from the Industrial Revolution to the present day. Students will follow the progression of ideas from the steam age to the digital age, and will consider advances in all areas of life. There is a strong emphasis on computing and digital technology which impinges directly on students’ lives today. Students’ vocabulary and knowledge of computing will be developed in a practical and modern way.
